The Xiaomi 13 series was scheduled to go official in China on December 1. However, the brand had to postpone the event following the demise of the former President of the People’s Republic of China, Jiang Zemin. The launch of Xiaomi’s next premium smartphone lineup has now been rescheduled for December 11.

As revealed by the company’s official pages, Xiaomi 13 series is all set to launch on December 11. The product launch event will start at 7 PM (local time) on Sunday. Aside from the Xiaomi 13 series, which will include the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, the company will also unveil a bunch of other products. This includes the MIU 14, Xiaomi Watch S2, Xiaomi Buds 4, and the Xiaomi Mini Host.

Most details about the upcoming Xiaomi 13 series are already out. We know the series will arrive with a boxed design, like the iPhones. The standard model will be equipped with a flat 6.36-inch E6 AMOLED display and will have leather and glass back options. The Pro model will have a larger 6.73-inch AMOLED QHD+ screen with curved edges. It will be offered in leather and ceramic back options. Both devices will support a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, both the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, paired with LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. The Xiaomi 13 will be fueled by a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The 13 Pro, on the contrary, will pack a 4,820mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
