Skyworth’s 23.8-inch gaming monitor with a high 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time has been unveiled in China. The new e-sports monitor is a great gaming monitor with some impressive specs. The refresh rate and response time for the monitor make it to be a worthy gadget for gaming enthusiasts. Skyworth expects that the new gaming monitor will get a decent reception in China.
The Skyworth gaming monitor comes with a very affordable price tag when compared with current 23-inch gaming monitors. The size of the monitor is not big and it will take up less space on the desk. It has a narrow frame design and features a three-monitor splicing. The new gaming monitor supports FreeSync, FPS, RTS, and standard three modes. Its 8-bit panel offers 16.7 million colors with a 99% sRGB color gamut.
The monitor features blue light eye protection technology, and the screen does not suffer from tearing or flickering. There are two HDMI 14 and one DP 1.2 port, while the VESA wall mount can also be deployed. The monitor weighs about 4.1kg while the display resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The Skyworth 23.8-inch gaming monitor is priced at 699 yuan (~$100). It can be purchased directly from e-commerce platforms in China like Jingdong. The company is offering a discount of 33 yuan that reduces the cost of the device to 666 yuan (~$96). There are no global availability and pricing details yet for the gaming monitor. The monitor comes quite cheap and its premium specs could stand it out in the market.
