Xiaomi has launched a new hair-styling gadget. The MIJIA Wireless Straightener can be used to style hair- either to straighten or curl the hair. The gadget is presently on pre-sale in China until December 27 with a price tag of 369 yuan ($53).
The MIJIA Wireless Straightener utilizes an MMH heating panel which can heat up quickly within 30 seconds after turning on the machine. The 3D floating panel design can closely fit the hair to ensure even heating. The MIJIA Styler also features three temperature adjustments of 165°C, 185°C, and 210°C to meet the needs of different hair types. Xiaomi says the styling can last up to 8 hours. However, it will vary depending on the personal hair type and regional environment.
The MIJIA Wireless Styler supports both straight and curling functions. The panel is equipped with tourmaline, which can release negative ions when heated, making the hair smooth and not frizzy after styling.
In terms of battery life, the gadget has a built-in 2500mAh battery. That battery is capable of delivering up to 25 minutes of battery life on a single charge. The device adopts a USB Type-C charging port design for easy and fast charging.
The device also adopts a light and simple design, which can be carried in a bag. It comes with an airplane mode lock, so it can be carried on board an airplane although it is recommended that the owner confirms from the airline before boarding with it.
