Lenovo will introduce its 500 USB Type C Universal Dock during CES 2023. The new universal dock is capable of ramping up the data speed when connected via a USB-C cable. It offers up to 10Gbps from two ports. The new Lenovo accessory is being propped as a perfect companion to the Lenovo IdeaPad‘s latest laptops.
It will be interesting to see how the IdeaPad and the 500 USB-C universal dock combine. The wait is virtually over as the two items will be showcased during CES 2023. The 500 USB-C universal docks can indeed work with any Type-C laptop. It comes in a compact and simple white chassis. It has a Display port, an HDMI port, two USB-A ports, and a PC-in Type C port. On the other side of the universal dock are two USB-C ports rated 10Gbps. The power ratings of the ports vary and they allow you to charge an array of devices and accessories.
While CES 2023 is expected to kick off on January 5, 2023, the new universal dock is not expected before April 2023. However, glimpses of the dongle-like USB-C Universal Dock will be seen during CES 2023.

The CES is organized by the Consumer Technology Association ad it features all aspects of the tech ecosystem. Next year’s event, CES 2023 holds from 5-8 January 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States.
