Lenovo has just launched the Lenovo Tab M9. Just like the previously launched Tab M8, the new Tab M9 is also a budget-oriented device and comes with many improvements compared to the Tab M8, like a larger screen and a more powerful chipset. Let’s take a look at the details of the device.

The Lenovo Tab M9 features a 9-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 800 x 1,340 pixels (176 PPI pixel density), 400 nits of maximum brightness, and pronounced bezels on the corners.

The Lenovo Tab M9 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. It is a significant improvement over the MediaTek Helio P22 found on its predecessors, as was already mentioned. Configurations for memory and storage include 32/64/128 GB of eMMC 5.1 memory and 3/4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. An 8 MP camera sensor with autofocus is located at the back, and a 2 MP sensor is used for selfies and video calls.

It is offered in two color options, Frost Blue and Arctic Grey, and weighs 344 g (0.76 lbs). Last but not least, the tablet is powered by a 5,100 mAh battery that, according to Lenovo, can support up to thirteen hours of movie playback. The retail packaging includes a 10W USB-C charger.

The Lenovo Tab M9 offers 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and other wireless connectivity options. It includes a microSD card port for memory expansion as well as a 3.5 mm audio jack. The tablet doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner and therefore relies on Face Unlock for security.

Starting February 2023, the Lenovo Tab M9 will hit store shelves with a price tag of 159 EUR (around US$169).
