The Redmi Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G are all set to launch on Jan. 5 in India. Apart from Xiaomi India’s website, the Redmi phones have been exclusively available on Amazon India. The Note 12 5G’s landing page is now live on Amazon. However, the landing page for Pro models are not available on the retailer site. Instead, the Note 12 Pro models’ microsite is now live on Flipkart.

Flipkart sold the Redmi Note series until the Redmi Note 7 series, which debuted in 2019. After that, Amazon started exclusively offering Redmi Note models with the Redmi Note 8 lineup. With Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G series, the Redmi Note series is now returning to Flipkart’s smartphone portfolio.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G series microsite highlights its key features. As it is known through the Chinese launch, the Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ will offer identical specs and differ in the two departments, such as the main camera and fast charging support. The Pro model will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera and support 67W fast charging, whereas the Pro+ will have a 200-megapixel main camera and offer 120W fast charging.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro and Pro+ feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro models will run on the Dimensity 1080 chipset, and Android 12 OS with the MIUI 13 on top. For security, both models have a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

On the front, the Note 12 Pro and Pro+ have a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Their rear-facing primary cameras are paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The series will ship with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Both phones will house a 5,000mAh battery.
