The rumor mill has been claiming for several months that the Redmi K60, which debuted in China last week, will be rebranded as the Poco F5 in the global market. However, reliable tipster Kacper Skrzypek claimed that the rebranded K60 will be called the Poco F5 Pro in the global market. A new report has revealed the moniker and model number of the upcoming F-series flagship phone.

In a new report, Xiaomiui has published a screenshot of the IMEI database listing of the Poco F5 Pro. Apart from revealing the moniker, the listing also confirms the model number of the device as 23013PC75G.

The China-exclusive Redmi K60 has the 23013RK75C model number. The similar model number as the one seen on the Poco F5 Pro’s IMEI database listing is a good hint that it will be a rebadged version of the Redmi K60.

Poco F5 Pro specifications (expected)

The Poco F5 Pro is expected to feature a 6.67-inch OLED display that offers a QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the F5 Pro will have a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging and 30W wireless charging. It is likely to come with up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The F5 Pro will have a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro triple camera unit. For selfies, it will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It will arrive with other features, such as an in-screen fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, and the Android 13 OS with the MIUI 13 skin on top.

At present, there is no word on the launch date of the Poco F5 Pro. The “2301” numbers mentioned in the model number of the device suggest that it may debut as early as this month.
