Oppo is likely to hold its next major launch in February in China. The event is expected to see the arrival of the Find X6 lineup and the second-generation Oppo Pad. Earlier this week, tipster Digital Chat Station shared some details on the display, chipset, and battery of the Pad 2. Now, the tipster is back with some more information about the device.

To recall, the Oppo Pad that debuted in February 2022 came equipped with a 13-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel. The new leak reveals that the megapixel count of the front and rear cameras of the Oppo Pad 2 will be the same as that of its predecessor. However, it is unclear whether it will inherit the exact same camera sensors.

Being a flagship tablet, the Oppo Pad 2 will come equipped with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. There is a possibility that it will come in lower configurations. The tablet will come preloaded with ColorOS 13.1, according to the tipster. To be more specific, it will most likely run on tablet-optimized ColorOS 13.1 for tablet-based Android 13 OS.

As per the previous leak by DCS, the Oppo Pad 2 will arrive with an 11.x-inch LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will offer a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. Under the hood, it will have the Dimensity 9000 SoC and a 9,500mAh battery, which is expected to support 67W fast charging. Its design is likely to be similar to the OnePlus Pad.

Later this month, Oppo may hold a mega launch event to announce several new devices, including the Find X6 series and the Oppo Pad 2 in China. It appears that the Chinese manufacturer will release an official confirmation about the launch event in the next few days.
