Oppo Reno 8T has been doing rounds on the internet for at least a few months now. Today, Oppo finally made the new Reno smartphone official. Reno 8T 5G has been launched in Vietnam alongside the Reno 8T 4G. The former brings a more premium design with a curved display on board, while the latter sticks to the basics. Below are the pricing and specifications of the newly launched Reno 8T series.
Oppo Reno 8T 5G Specifications
The Reno 8T 5G arrives with a 6.57-inch curved OLED panel with FHD+ (2412×1080) resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colors, and 950nits peak brightness. The handset is 7.7mm thick and weighs around 171g. Under its hood, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
For photography, the handset features a triple camera unit on the back, headlined by a 108MP primary camera. There’s also a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP microscope lens. Up front, a 32MP selfie shooter is fitted hole-punch cutout. Fueling the smartphone is a 4,800mAh battery that supports 67W Supervooc charging. On the software front, the Reno 8T 5G runs ColorOS 13 with Android 13 on top.
Oppo Reno 8T 4G Specifications
Reno 8T 4G is a more affordable smartphone that comes with decent specifications. There’s a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that offers FHD+ resolution with up to a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The LTE version is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
In the rear camera department, the smartphone features a 100MP main sensor, 2MP depth camera, and 2MP microscope unit. For selfies, it gets a 32MP shooter on the front. The Reno 8T 4G packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for Supervooc charging. It runs Android 13-based ColorOS 13 out of the box.
Oppo Reno 8T 5G & Reno 8T 4G Price
The Oppo Reno 8T 5G has been launched in Vietnam with a price of VND 9.9 million (around $422) for the top-end 8GB RAM+ 256GB storage model. The handset will be available in Starlight Black and Dawn Gold colors. The Oppo Reno 8T 4G, on the other hand, carries a price tag of VND 8.49 million ($362) for the sole 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option. It is offered Starlight Black and Sunset Orange shades.
