Plugable has announced its 8-in-1 USB-C Docking Station for iPad with Stand. The product is now available in selected markets. It works with several tablets and smartphones and supports connecting your device to a bigger display via HDMI.
The Plugable 8-in-1 USB-C Docking Station supports 100W USB-C pass-through charging and 5Gbps USB Type-A ports. The docking station will output 4K, 30Hz visuals through its HDMI port. The docking station is however only compatible with screens with 1600 x 900, 1920 x 1080, and 1560 x 1440p resolutions.
The Plugable docking station can operate with Windows 10 and higher, iPad M1, and newer models with iPadOS 16 or higher. It is also compatible with USB-C smartphones and tablets with DisplayLink Alt Mode. The gadget has a 100W USB-C port and supports pass-through charging. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack and SD/ MicroSD slots. Its second USB-C port is used to connect to a smartphone or tablet.
The 8-in-1 USB-C Docking Station for iPad with Stand has a 250-degrees vertically adjustable stand with an anti-slip base. The 20-inch USB-C to USB-C cable is part of the package. The gadget is priced at $69 in the US. The Plugable docking station is also available in the UK and Canada and is priced at £71.23 and CA$92 respectively.
