Back in January, Xiaomi began to roll out MIUI 14 update for the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G. It was initially available for the EEA variant of the smartphone. Now, a month later, the update is live for the Indian version as well.

The latest software update for the handset is based on Android 13. Thus, the device has received two of the three promised Android updates.

Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE

According to Xiaomiui, the MIUI 14 update for the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G in India arrives with build number V14.0.3.0.TKOINXM. The system update is being pushed to users via OTA.

Like any other software update, it is being rolled out in batches. Therefore, it is currently limited to a select few users. Anyway, all units shall get access to the update in the coming days.

The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G was released in the second half of 2021. It debuted with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. The phone was later updated to Android 12-based MIUI 13 in the first quarter of 2022.

As per Xiaomi’s official update policy, the product will receive one more Android update (Android 14) and security updates until 2025. The next major update will likely roll out in 2024 or late 2023 at the earliest.
