The Xiaomi 13 series of flagship smartphone model is set to be released at the MWC 2023 (Mobile World Congress) event later this month. But ahead of its launch, this global variant of the base model was unboxed, while a separate leak revealed renders of the top end Xiaomi 13 Ultra model.

The leaked images of the unboxed Xiaomi 13 was shared by known tipster Snoopy Tech. Looking at the pictures, we see the device and the content of its retail box. For those unaware, the Xiaomi 13 has already been launched in the brand’s home market of China. Now, the base model was unboxed with the pictures showing a white model. We can even see that the global variant arrives with the 67W fast charger out of the box, including both the charging cable and the adapter.

There is also a clear protective cover in the box as well. The Xiaomi 13 is a premium grade handset and features top notch specs and features like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and 50 megapixel triple camera setup on the rear. It even offers up to 50W wireless fast charging, iP68 protection rating, and more. A separate leak also revealed another upcoming 13 series phone. This is the top end Xiaomi 13 Ultra, with its design being revealed via leaked renders.

The renders showcase the rear design of the new flagship phone, which features a large camera island and a circular module that houses the cameras. We can clearly see that the module houses four image sensors that likely include a primary, periscope, and wide angle lens. While finer details regarding the camera setup is still unclear, rumors have hinted at the 1 inch Sony IMX989 sensor. Apart from this, we can see the device has curved edges.
