The brand has recently released several 5G smartphones in the Note 12 series and is now preparing to launch the Redmi Note 12 4G in the near future. The device has already been benchmarked on Geekbench and its design and specifications have been leaked. Based on leaked live images, it appears that the Redmi Note 12 4G will be marketed as simply the “Redmi Note 12”. The device appears to bear a resemblance to its 5G counterpart, but there are some noticeable differences, such as the circular LED flash being in a different position. The back of the device is flat and houses three cameras in the top left corner. The front display has a punch hole for the front camera, and previous renders have suggested that the device will feature slim bezels on three sides and a modest chin.

The unboxing image confirms that the device will feature a Corning Gorilla Glass-protected 120Hz AMOLED display. It will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that draws power from a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Lastly, the image reveals that the device has a 50MP AI triple camera. The upcoming Note 12 4G is said to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 685 processor. It will have a 6.67-inch Full HD OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also has a large 5000mAh battery with 33W charging.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Redmi Note 12 4G has a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 13MP selfie camera. Additionally, the phone comes with a side fingerprint sensor, NFC, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz/5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, IP53, and a microSD slot (2 SIM + 1 SD card slot).
