The Powerkiddy RK2023 retro gaming handheld has been launched. The RK2023 can emulate retro games and is shaped like a Game Boy Advance. It is equipped with a 3.5-inch IPS display, 1GB of RAM, and a 3,500mAh battery.
The latest Powerkiddy gaming handheld has dimensions of 151.5 x 78 x 17.5mm and is powered by a low-end chipset capable of emulating older games from PS1, NES, and N64 libraries. It is powered by the Rockchip RK3566 with four ARM Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz speed and a Mali-G52 GPU. The RK2023 has a display resolution of 640 x 480 pixels with a 60Hz refresh rate and a 4:3 aspect ratio. The gadget features a regular collection of buttons including four shoulder buttons. In terms of storage and connectivity, the Powerkiddy RK2023 has USB-C ports and an HDMI interface for connecting to an external monitor.
The Powerkiddy RK2023 retro gaming handheld will come in at least two colorways including black and white. The gaming handheld’s 3,500mAh battery offers up to 8 hours of playtime on a full charge. The chassis of the RK2023 is made of ABS plastic and storage options available are 16GB, 64GB, and 128 GB.
The price of the Powerkiddy RK2023 gaming handheld is between $89.99 and $99.99. More details about the RK2023 gaming handheld can be seen on the Powerkiddy website. There are however no global availability details yet for the gadget outside selected markets including the US.
