Oppo will be hosting a launch event later today for its Find X6 series flagship smartphones as well as the premium Oppo Pad 2 tablet. The brand has officially announced that it will also be launching the Oppo Enco Free3 TWS earbuds at this launch event. Ahead of the launch, the brand has confirmed some key specs and features of the Enco Free3 earbuds.

According to the listing, the earbuds will incorporate Bamboo fiber into their diaphragms, marking the first use of this material in Bluetooth earbuds. Although high-end audio equipment is already known to utilize Bamboo due to its robust and acoustically superior properties, this will be a unique application for the material.

The manufacturer is endorsing the new Bamboo fiber diaphragm as a means of enhancing the clarity and precision of the Free3s’ Hi-Res Wireless HD-certified audio output. Furthermore, OPPO has suggested that the new earbuds may feature exceptional noise cancellation of up to 49dB, as well as support for LDAC over their Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connection, which could be quite impressive.

In terms of design, the upcoming TWS earbuds bear a resemblance to certain models in Oppo’s Buds Air series. These earbuds have a stem-like design with cutouts of the ‘L’ and ‘R’ symbols on each side, forming openings for the inner microphones. The oval charging case is equipped with a translucent upper panel, while the Enco Free3 earbuds may be available in White and Green color options.
