Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 12 series in India in early January. The company introduced three models and all of them are 5G-enabled.
Now, weeks later, the firm has confirmed to debut a new phone in the lineup. This device is limited to 4G connectivity and it is officially called Redmi Note 12 (without 5G at the end).
The 4G variant of Redmi Note 12 is scheduled to launch in India on March 30. It will be one of the many new products debuting at the Xiaomi Fan Festival, which will run from March 30 to April 20.
The teaser page for the handset discloses its key features. The smartphone will look similar to its 5G counterpart, however, the specs will be nearly identical to those of the Redmi Note 11.
The phone is said to come with a 120Hz Super AMOLED display. The screen is expected to offer FHD+ resolution and measure 6.67 inches in size.
The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC, which is nothing but an overclocked Snapdragon 680. It will flaunt a 50MP (wide) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro) triple rear camera system and a 13MP selfie camera.
Last but not least, the handset will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging.
