Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has just announced the Redmi Note 12 (4G), Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G for the global market. The press release available on Mi.com mentions all the details about these smartphones. It also contains a link (still accessible while writing the post) to the product pages of these smartphones. Surprisingly, the link also includes press renders of two unannounced smartphones, namely, the Redmi Note 12S and Redmi Note 12 Pro (4G). Both smartphones are expected to go official in the coming weeks.
Redmi Note 12S renders
The Redmi Note 12S renders show that it will come in black, blue, and green colors. It is equipped with a punch-hole screen, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a 108-megapixel triple camera unit on the back.
The Redmi Note 12S rumors have claimed that it will be a rebranded version of the Note 11S from last year. However, the Note 12S will offer faster charging solution, but lack the depth sensor. Hence, it is expected to feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ 90Hz screen, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, a 108-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit, Helio G96, 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
Redmi Note 12 Pro (4G) renders
As can be seen in the above renders, the Redmi Note 12 Pro (4G) will be available in black, white, blue, and gradient blue shades. In terms of design, the device can be seen sporting a punch-hole display, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, and a Xiaomi 12-series-like camera unit with a 108-megapixel primary snapper.
Rumours surrounding it have claimed that it will be rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro (global). Hence, it is expected to come with specs like a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 732G, 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, a 5,020mAh battery, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 108-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 5-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth) quad-camera system.
