iQOO Z7x was part of the Z7 series lineup which was introduced in China earlier this month. A smartphone with the same name is also expected to launch in India very soon, albeit with slightly different specifications. Reports have claimed that the iQOO Z7x will arrive in the country in April and will be priced lower than the iQOO Z7, which features the Dimensity 920 chip, in the Indian market. While we wait, the handset has appeared on the Google Supported Devices list. Here are the details.
iQOO Z7x has been spotted on Google’s supported devices list with model number V2272A. While the listing did not reveal any details about the upcoming device, it hinted at a nearby launch. Currently, there’s no official confirmation from the brand. However, a recent report claimed the smartphone will debut in India in April and will be priced between Rs 14,000 and Rs 16,000.

The iQOO Z7x 5G, slated for launch in India, is expected to boast identical specifications to its Chinese counterpart, except for the possibility of supporting slower charging. In China, the iQOO Z7x supports 80W fast charging and is available in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants. However, in India, only the 8GB+256GB model is likely to be made available.
The smartphone should arrive with a 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel with a center punch-hole. The panel could support an FHD+ resolution, a 19:9 aspect ratio, and a 120hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone could be powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset with a 5,000mAh battery, LPDDR4x RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage. For photography, it will get a 16MP front camera, a 64-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2MP depth shooter.
