OPPO AX5400 WiFi 6 Router powered by Qualcomm IPQ5018 chip launched for 599 yuan ($87)

OPPO has released its first Wi-Fi 6 router, the AX5400, which is now available for purchase on the official mall for 599 yuan ($87). The router features a unique transparent cylinder design that showcases the internal components and hidden antennas. The design is also symmetrical, with the interfaces and function buttons being left and right symmetrical.

The AX5400 is equipped with the Qualcomm IPQ5018 chip and supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard, which is the latest wireless network protocol that offers faster speeds and higher capacity than previous Wi-Fi standards. It is also compatible with 802.11b/g/n/ac/ax and can provide 2.4GHz+5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi signals at the same time. The router can support up to 256 devices to access simultaneously, making it ideal for households with many devices.

In terms of connectivity, the AX5400 is equipped with 1 2.5G network port and 2 Gigabit network ports. All interfaces support WAN/LAN blind insertion, which means that users can plug in the cables without worrying about which port to use.

The AX5400 also supports Easy Mesh, which allows for fast and convenient Mesh networking among cross-platform and cross-brand routers. This feature enables users to expand their Wi-Fi network coverage and improve the overall network performance.

To improve the stability and speed of the Wi-Fi signal, OPPO has equipped the AX5400 with four high-gain antennas and six independent signal amplifiers. These are combined with OPPO’s self-developed anti-jamming algorithm, which ensures that the Wi-Fi signal transmission distance is longer and more stable.

OPPO has also developed its own O-RouterBoost network directional acceleration technology, which enables the network to quickly identify products equipped with ColorOS 13 and above. This technology intelligently accelerates the three high-frequency scenarios of games, online courses, and web conferences, with a maximum acceleration of up to 20%.
