Asus had announced that it would be launching new gaming laptops from its popular ROG (Republic of Gamers) branding earlier this month. It began taking pre-orders for the all new ROG Strix Scar 16 and 18, and now, these laptops along with other refreshed models have just been launched in the region.

The PC maker has launched the new ROG Strix Scar 16 & 18 along with refreshed models of the ROG Strix Scar 17, Zephyrus M16, and even Zephyrus Duo 16. Talking about the new Scar 16 & 18 models first, these feature the iconic ROG design with the metallic ROG logo on the top lid. Under the hood, the laptops feature the latest Intel Core CPUs along with NVIDIA’s latest RTX 400 series graphics cards. They also arrive with up to a QHD resolution panel with a 240Hz refresh rate.

On the other hand, the refreshed Strix Scar 17 model is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPUs along with RTX 4000 series GPUs. Apart from this, the gaming notebook offers much of the same specs as its siblings, like the QHD 240Hz display, 150W25W max TGP GPU, Aura Sync support across the metallic ROG logo and even the per key RGB keyboard for improved personalization.
