The iQOO Z7x 5G is expected to launch by mid-April in India. It is going to be the same device that debuted in China earlier this month. Ahead of the expected launch, the device has been spotted with model number I2216 at the Bluetooth SIG certification.
The Bluetooth SIG certification only states that the IQOO Z7x 5G supports Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity and has no information on its other specifications. Apart from India, the device is also expected to be released in Malaysia since it has been approved by the country’s SIRIM authority. The device has also appeared in the Google Supported Devices list, which suggests that its global launch is near.

The iQOO Z7x 5G smartphone comes equipped with a 6.64-inch IPS LCD display that features a centrally placed punch-hole. The screen supports an FHD+ resolution, a 19:9 aspect ratio, and a high 120Hz refresh rate. The device runs on the Snapdragon 695 chipset, LPDDR4x RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage. In China, the device is available in three configurations, but it is expected to arrive in an 8GB+256GB version only in India.
The Z7x also has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a 64-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (depth) dual-camera setup on the back. On the software front, the iQOO Z7x 5G runs on the latest Android 13 OS. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery and also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Chinese variant supports 80W fast charging, but the variant released on the global market may offer slower charging.
In China, the IQOO Z7x is available in black, blue, and orange shades. The handset is expected to arrive in India in the same colors. It is likely to cost between Rs 14,000 and Rs 16,000, which indicates it will be positioned lower than the iQOO Z7 5G, which is powered by the Dimensity 920 chipset.
