Although Meizu is not as prominent in the smartphone industry as it used to be, the company is still active and has been annually releasing its flagship phones in China. Recently, the brand was acquired by Geely in 2022, and the new owner has announced that Meizu will unveil a new lineup of high-end smartphones in 2023. As per their commitment, Meizu has organized a launch event scheduled for tomorrow to introduce their latest flagship series, the Meizu 20. Here’s how you can watch the launch.

Tomorrow (March 30) at 7:30 PM local time (GMT+8) , Meizu is scheduled to host the launch event for the Meizu 20 series in China. Those who are interested can tune in to the live stream of the event on the company’s official Weibo account.

The Meizu 20 series is anticipated to consist of two devices, specifically the Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro. Both phones are expected to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset coupled with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

Furthermore, rumors suggest that the phones will feature OLED displays with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit HDR support. The Pro model is expected to have a larger screen and also incorporate LTPO technology.

Details about the camera specifications are limited, except for the fact that the Meizu 20 Pro is speculated to have a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, which is common among other high-end Chinese flagship smartphones such as Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo.

Regarding the software, the phones will run on Flyme 10 based on Android 13. Lastly, the Meizu 20 Pro is expected to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
