The Anbernic RG405M is currently available for purchase on the company’s website at a price of US$167.99. This handheld gaming device is offered in two color options, black and a mint-colored variation that may be described as a non-traditional shade of grey. Additionally, customers have the option to order the device with a microSD card, either a 128 GB or 256 GB, at prices of US$182.99 and US$197.99, respectively.

The Anbernic RG405M is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T618 SoC, which includes two ARM Cortex-A75 CPU cores and six Cortex-A55 CPU cores, operating at a clock speed of 2 GHz. It also features a Mali-G52 GPU with a clock speed of 850 MHz.

In terms of memory and storage, the RG405M has 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128 GB of eMMC flash storage, and a MicroSD card reader. Anbernic claims that the device runs on Android 12 and supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. It is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that can last up to 8 hours on a single charge.

The gaming device has a 4.95-inch OLED display with a resolution of 960 x 544 pixels, which is exactly double the native resolution of the PSP. The display’s brightness level is not specified by Anbernic, but it is one of the most notable features of the device. The Anbernic RG405M measures 189 x 87 x 18 mm and weighs 286 g.
