Recently, Hisense held an event in China where they unveiled the world’s first 8K laser TV. In addition to the product launch, the brand discussed its market growth rate. The data revealed that Hisense was able to secure the first position in China’s TV market and was ranked second globally. The brand aims to achieve the top spot in the global TV market soon.

They used the authoritative market research organization Omdia’s report for reference. Omdia’s report reveals that Samsung was in the top position, Hisense in second and Xiaomi ranked third in terms of the global TV market. Moreover, while all the other brands in the top 5 experienced a significant decrease in their market share, Hisense was the only one to observe an increase. This is certainly a positive indication for the brand.

Their latest Hisense 100LX 8K TV, for instance, is the world’s first 8K resolution laser TV which offers many breakthrough specifications such as the brand’s proprietary LPU digital laser pixel tech, IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision, 4 independent speakers with the support of Dolby Atmos and a lot more.

In 2022, the global shipments of Hisense TVs are expected to exceed 24.54 million units, indicating a year-on-year increase of 16.1%. As per the official statement, Hisense’s global influence is one of the key drivers of its innovation, and its UX series is anticipated to compete with OLED and QLED TVs, positioning it as a strong contender in the high-end TV products market. The introduction of 8K TV models by the company, for example, has transformed the way customers watch television.

The official from the brand stated, “Securing the second position globally is a significant milestone for us, which showcases our determination to continue producing innovative and high-quality televisions. The company’s commitment to its customers and focus on introducing new technologies in the industry will propel us to even greater heights in the future. We are looking forward to achieving the first position in the global TV market soon.”
