Lenovo has just announced a pair of brand new thin and light laptops from its popular Xiaoxin notebook series in the Chinese market. The models in question include the new 2023 Xiaoxin 14 and Xiaoxin 16 models. These launches arrives days after the company launched the Xiaoxin 14 in a new Green color option.

Lenovo Xiaoxin 14

Talking about the more compact and lighter model first, the Xiaoxin 14 measures just 16.9mm and weighs just 1.46 kilograms. As the name suggests, the 2023 edition of the laptop sports a 14 inch display that has a Full HD resolution along with 300 nits of peak brightness. The panel has a 16:10 aspect ratio along with a high 91 percent screen to body ratio. The front also houses a 1080p webcam. Under the hood, the laptop is equipped with Intel 13th Gen CPU, the i5-13500H processor.

This chipset is a high performance mobile processor, and can even be found in some entry level gaming laptops. In other words, it is quite capable for intensive tasks. The processor is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. Other notable features include, microSD card reader, USB Type C port, two USB Type A ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. This model has a 38W total power draw. It has been launched in China for an introductory price tag of 4,299 Yuan.

Xiaoxin 16

The Lenovo Xiaoxin 16 model is the larger of the two in the new series and features but still arrives with a thin and light design. It weighs a slightly heftier 1.89 kilograms, although has the same thickness of 16.9mm. The new Xiaoxin 16 sports a taller 16 inch display that also has a 16:10 aspect ratio and a higher 2560 x 1600px resolution.

Lenovo

This model has a slightly higher total power draw of 40W. Under the hood, this model is also equipped with the same Intel 13th Gen processor, which is paired with at least one variant with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. The Lenovo Xiaoxin 16 has a slightly higher price tag of 4,499 Yuan.
