One of the most significant changes in the update is the new feedback feature, which allows users to report any issues or give suggestions to the developers. This new feature helps the developers to keep improving the OS.

The update also reduces standby power consumption by optimizing the 4G/5G network switching function. This optimization ensures that your phone uses less power while idle, which means you can enjoy longer battery life. The Bluetooth function in Quick Settings has also been optimized, making it easier to access paired devices.

The update introduces smoother QR code transactions, allowing you to scan UPI QR codes directly through the camera app and choose a payment app on your device to complete the transaction. This feature is only available in select regions.

The fingerprint pattern unlocking experience has been optimized, making it more responsive and accurate. The pop-up view animations are now smoother, providing a more seamless experience.

Other improvements include the integration of Google Safety Center and NDot Cyrillic font support for Belarusian, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Russian, Serbian, and Ukrainian.

The update also addresses several issues that have been reported by users, including freeze issues during pop-up view, improved notification display in Quick Settings, error messages during face unlock setup, and incoming call notifications that come through without delay.

In addition to the update, the Nothing Phone (1) is also in line to receive Android 14 Beta 1 in the coming weeks for those that opt in, making it one of the first Android devices (besides the Google Pixel) to receive early access to the latest Android version. Additionally, the Nothing Phone (2) is launching this summer, so fans will definitely be excited for the same.
