Huawei is all set to launch its latest foldable smartphone model, the Mate X3, in Europe. The foldable phone was first launched in China back in March 2023, and is finally making its way to the global market. So here are all the details.

Huawei Mate X3 finally arrives in the European market

Just after its first announcement, the Chinese tech giant also confirmed that the Mate X3 foldable phone will also be launching in the European market on 9th May 2023. Now, the device is finally unveiled in the region. The Mate X3 is the latest generation of the brand’s foldable phone series and rivals Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4 in the market. The device sports a tall 7.85 inch primary screen that features an OLED panel and 120Hz refresh rate along with a 6.4 inch cover display.

Under the hood, the device is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC that is paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Huawei Mate X3 is powered by a large 4,800mAh battery pack that supports 66W wired fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging, and 7.5W reverse charging as well. The rear packs a 50 megapixel triple camera setup, while the front houses an 8 megapixel selfie shooter.

Other notable features include, satellite connectivity, IPX8 water resistance, 239 grams in weight, 11.08mm in thickness when folded and just 5.3mm when unfolded, OIS support on the periscope zoom lens, NFC, dual stereo speakers, and Bluetooth 5.2. The device was launched in China for a starting price tag of 12,999 Yuan or roughly about 1,900 US Dollars or 1,700 Euros. But now, it is going on sale for a starting price tag of 1,199 Euros (1,199 Pounds in the UK) for its 8GB + 256GB model and 1,399 Euros (1,299 Pounds in the UK) for the 12GB + 512GB model.
