Tecno has launched the Camon 20 series smartphones. The lineup comprises the Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro, Camon 20 Pro 5G, and Camon 20 Premier. These devices arrive as the successor to the last year’s Camon 19 series. Read on to know what the newest smartphones offer out of the box. 

Tecno Camon 20 series specifications and features

All Tecno Camon 20 series phones have the same design with a unique pentagonal-shaped camera island. They have geometric pattern design on the back panel. All four phones feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display bearing an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. They are equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. 

On the imaging front, the Tecno Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro feature a 64MP main sensor paired with a 2MP macro unit and an AI lens. The Camon 20 Pro 5G also retains the same primary and macro lenses but the third unit is 2MP bokeh and the main sensor also supports OIS. Meanwhile, the Camon 20 Premier sports a 50MP RGBW main sensor with sensor-shift OIS, a 108MP ultra-wide and macro lens, and a 2MP bokeh unit with octa-ring flash. Up front, the Tecno Camon 20 lineup features a 32MP selfie snapper. 

Under the hood, the Tecno Camon 20 and 20 Pro are equipped with Helio G85 and G99 chipsets respectively. The Pro model’s 5G version has the newly announced Dimensity 8050 – which is essentially a rebadged Dimensity 1300. The Camon 20 Premier is also powered by the same chipset as the Camon 20 Pro 5G. All four phones pack 8GB RAM along with 8GB virtual RAM. There is 256GB native storage onboard except for the Camon 20 Premier which packs 512GB storage. The smartphones also feature a heat dissipation system. 

The Tecno Camon 20 series is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging on the standard and pro models. The Camon 20 Premier features 45W fast charging. 

The Tecno Camon 20 series comes in Serenity Blue and Predawn Black colours. The pricing and availability of the smartphones has not been announced yet.
