Earlier today, Sharp unveiled the Aquos R8 series flagship phones in Japan. These handsets were also accompanied by a budget smartphone called Aquos Wish 3.
As the name suggests, the new device is the third-gen model in the Aquos Wish series. The brand has revealed everything about the product, except for its price. It will go on sale in July.
Sharp Aquos Wish 3 is made of 60% recycled plastic
The body of Sharp Aquos Wish 3 is made of recycled plastic. The brand claims that the usage of recycled plastic has increased to 60% compared to 35% on Aquos Wish 2.
The phone sports a 5.7-inch display (LCD) with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels (HD+) and a dewdrop notch. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
The handset is IP67-rated for dust and water resistance. It comes with a fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a MicroSD card slot.
On the software front, the device boots Android 13. It has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.
Apart from 5G, it offers other connectivity features like dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. Last but not least, the smartphone is backed by a 3,730mAh battery.
