Apple iPhone 15 & 15 Plus to feature new & improved primary rear camera

A new report has revealed that the lower end model of the iPhone 15 series, which includes the base iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus model, will feature improved primary rear cameras. The more affordable entry in the lineup will feature a 48 megapixel sensor for its primary rear camera. According to known analyst Jeff Pu, the two smartphones will feature the same 48 megapixel sensor that was offered on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max model from last year.

The new sensor will enable the next gen non Pro iPhone models to capture 48 megapixel ProRAW photos. In other words, users can capture images with more details, which is great for those that edit images later on. This feature has been widely well received in the market and also arrived as a major upgrade to cameras in the iPhone 14 Pro models.

Previously, Pu had added that the iPhone 15 Pro models will not feature solid state buttons over design issues. However, these higher end models will still arrive with titanium frame, an upgraded A17 Bionic chips, and 8GB of RAM. Lastly, these devices are also expected to house a USB Type C port.
