Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra scores 141 points in DxOMark Selfie Camera

The DxOMark score was based on its performance in two categories, Video and Photo. It scored 145 points for videography and 139 points in photography. The company noted that the selfie camera on the Galaxy S23 Ultra had good exposure and wide dynamic range in both photos and videos. However, there were occasionally some issues with underexposure in low light scenes. During low light it even struggled with details at times and lacked contrast in photo mode.

DxOMark even found some ghosting, ringing, and hue shift artifacts in some captures. Apart from this, the device received various praises for its accurate white balance and natural looking skin tones in bright and indoor lighting conditions. The autofocus was also fast and accurate. In most scenes, the noise levels were mostly not too high and the bokeh effect had accurate depth estimation. The Samsung flagship was also praised for its effective video stabilization.
