Vivo fans have something to look forward to as the company gears up to launch its highly anticipated Vivo S17 series in China on May 31. Recent developments indicate that apart from the Vivo S17e, which is already available in China, the lineup also includes the Vivo S17 and Vivo S17 Pro. According to TechGoing, both smartphones with model numbers V2283A and V2284A have been certified by China’s TENAA authority. At the same time, another device with V2282A has also been approved by TENAA. According to the publication, this device will be called the Vivo S17t when it arrives in the Chinese market. Here’s a closer look at the rumored features that have surfaced through their TENAA listings.

The Vivo S17, S17t, and S17 Pro will feature a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with curved edges. Currently, only images of the S17 Pro have appeared through the TENAA certification. The S17 and S17t are expected to look quite similar to the Pro model.  The displays of all three phones will offer an impressive 1.5K resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels. Furthermore, the screen is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate.

In terms of memory and storage options, the Vivo S17 trio will come in RAM options such as 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB and storage variants such as 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Powering the Vivo S17 series phones is rumored to be a robust 4,505mAh (rated value) battery.

All three phones will have fast charging capabilities, and they are expected to come preloaded with Android 13 OS with the OriginOS 3.1 UI on top. In the camera department, the Vivo S17 series is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 front camera with autofocus. The entire series is equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, and NFC.

Vivo S17 and S17t: According to rumours, the Snapdragon 782G processor powers the Vivo S17. On the other hand, the S17t is powered by an unknown chip that works at 3GHz. Both smartphones are expected to support either 66W or 80W charging technology. On the rear, the S17 and S17t will have a dual-camera setup consisting of an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX766V sensor paired with an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide sensor.

Vivo S17 Pro: The Vivo S17 Pro is rumored to be powered by the Dimensity 8200 processor. It is said to support 80W rapid charging technology. The camera setup on its rear will be a triple-camera configuration, including an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V main sensor, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 telephoto sensor, and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens.
