Back in December 2022, Lenovo had announced the Tab M9, which was its latest budget oriented tablet model. Now, this large screen device is also making its way to the Indian market as the company has just announced its release date.
Lenovo Tab M9 will go on sale in India on June 1
Talking about its design first, it features a dual tone colors on the rear with the Lenovo branding on the right side and a lone camera on the top left corner. The device measures just 7.99mm in thickness and weighs around 344 grams. The rear panel on this device is made from metal, which adds a premium feel to the Tab M9. Meanwhile, the front sports a tall 9 inch IPS LCD panel that has a 1,340 x 800px resolution.
This display offers 400 nits of peak brightness, although there are some very chunky bezels that surround it on all four sides. Under the hood, the Lenovo Tab M9 is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC that is paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The rear features an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus, while the front houses a 2 megapixel selfie shooter. A large 5,100mAh battery pack powers the device, but it only supports standard 10W charging.
Other notable features include, a microSD card slot for memory expansion, Bluetooth 5.1, Face unlock, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The company is set to launch the Tab M9 for sale in India on June 1 for a starting price tag of 12,999 INR. Keep in mind that it will arrive in a 3GG+32GB option as well as an LTE enabled and WiFi only variant for the two storage configurations as well.The device will be available in Frost Blue color and will go on sale in Amazon and Flipkart.
