Back in April, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone was launched in China. As the name suggests, it is an ultra-premium offering from the Chinese smartphone giant with quite a special camera setup (check out our Xiaomi 13 Ultra camera review). A report emerged last week tipping that European customers can expect the device to launch soon with a €1,499 MSRP. However, a couple of retailer listings suggest otherwise.
According to Dutch retailer Belsimpel, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to be released in Europe at a price lower than initially anticipated. Belsimpel has revealed through screenshots that they will sell the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra for €1,299. Similarly, German retailer Gomibo has also listed the device for €1,277. It’s worth mentioning that these retailers exclusively offer official European models of Xiaomi smartphones, indicating that these prices are likely to be the official debut prices for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in Europe in the upcoming days. The brand is yet to announce the official European launch date of the device.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra specs
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is an impressive flagship smartphone that offers a remarkable user experience. Its standout feature is the stunning 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, which boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 1440p, and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, making it one of the brightest displays available.
Powering the device’s performance is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, paired with a generous 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a spacious 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and ample storage space. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra also stands out for its unique camera setup, featuring a Leica Vario-Summicron lens with a 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989 primary camera sensor, offering a variable aperture ranging from f/1.9 to f/4.0. It also includes a 50MP Sony IMX858 f/1.8 ultrawide sensor with a 122-degree field of view, as well as a pair of 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto lenses. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 32MP front-facing camera.
Running on the Android 13 operating system with Xiaomi’s customized MIUI 14 skin, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra comes equipped with a robust 5,000mAh battery. Notably, it supports both 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, providing users with convenient and efficient charging options.
