Google has announced the June Pixel Feature Drop update. It introduces seven new features for smartphones, tablets, and Wear OS smartwatches. These include Reading Practice, New Android Widgets, Dark Web report, Spotify tile, Google Keep tile, improved Google Wallet, and new Emoji Kitchen combinations. Google June Pixel Feature Drop update: what’s new

Android phones and tablets get a Reading feature in ebooks marked as ‘Practice’ in Google Play Books. It helps users enhance their vocabulary and comprehension skills. The feature offers real-time feedback, practice mispronounced words, and improve their reading skills. 

With the latest pixel feature drop update, android phones and tablets get the option to customize the home screen with three new widgets. These are Google TV, Google Finance, and Google News. With these widgets, users can get personalized movies and TV show suggestions, show trade stock graphs, and stay informed with curated daily news headlines. 

Google has introduced Dark Web Report in the US for now and it will expand to 20 more countries. Users can check if their Gmail account has been exposed on the dark web through Google One and protect their online identity with the feature. Google One members can also scan for additional personal information like social security numbers. 

Wear OS-powered smartwatches get a Spotify tile with the June pixel feature drop update. Users can conveniently and quickly access their Spotify list on their smartwatches with new tiles and watch face shortcuts. Additionally, smartwatches also get a Google Keep tile that lets users create important notes and to-do lists. They can swipe through the tiles to find pinned notes. 

The Google Keyboard app comes with an Emoji Kitchen feature that allows users to create personalized stickers by mixing and matching existing emojis. The June pixel feature drop update also introduces aquatic-themed emoji combinations.

Google has also improved the Google Wallet with the June pixel feature drop update. People in Washington DC and San Fransico Bay area can now quickly pay and ride using SmarTrip and Clipper cards through Google Wallet on their Wear OS smartwatches and Pixel devices.
