OnePlus launched its first tablet last month called the OnePlus Pad. The device is excellent on a hardware level, however, the software feels a little rushed as we have discussed in our review of the tablet. The brand has however released updates to fix these issues, with the latest one focusing on improving the stylus experience along with swatting some known bugs.

The new update is currently being seeded to some French users of the device with firmware version, OPD2203_13.1.0.544(EX01). The brand is yet to make the official announcement on the community forum. However, community members have shared a screenshot of the update. According to the screenshot, the new update weighs 714MB and comes with a bunch of changes to the system along with two added features.

Notable additions include Multi-Screen Connect support, allowing users to connect multiple screens and a convenient feature that enables quick access to the Quick Note panel using the stylus. Furthermore, various enhancements have been made to improve stylus stability, touch control experience, system stability, and gaming performance. Additionally, the update addresses known issues with the Photos app, resolving an existing problem. However, it is currently unknown which problem the patch addresses.

OnePlus

It is unknown when this update will be released for other regions, however, looking at the brand’s track record, users in many regions across the globe can expect the OTA notification to pop up within a week. That being said, you can also manually check for the update by heading to System>System update>Check for updates.
