Back in May, Nokia debuted the XR21 Rugged smartphone in the UK. A month later, the device made its way to the US market. Now, the smartphone has arrived in some European regions, as well as in Australia.

Starting with Australia, the device has made its debut with a price tag of AUD 799. Whereas, in Germany, France, Spain, and the Netherlands, the Nokia XR21 smartphone is available for EUR 599. It comes in a single Midnight Black color with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In Australia, the smartphone will come with a free Nokia Wireless Speaker 2 and 33W charger, whereas European customers will get a free pair of Nokia Clarity earbuds with every purchase of the Nokia XR21.

The Nokia XR21 boasts a center-aligned punch-hole cutout display, featuring a 6.49-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution. It offers a smooth viewing experience with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 550 nits. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and supports touch even with wet hands or gloves. The smartphone includes a convenient side-mounted fingerprint scanner and two customizable buttons.

In terms of design, the Nokia XR21 showcases a sturdy construction with a 100 percent recycled aluminum chassis. It meets MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability standards and is IP68-rated for waterproofing. Additionally, it holds IP69K certification, ensuring resistance against dust, water, and drops.

For photography enthusiasts, the Nokia XR21 features a 16MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies. On the rear, it houses a dual-camera setup comprising a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an LED flash.

Under the hood, the Nokia XR21 is powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It is equipped with a 4,800mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The device runs on the Android 12 operating system, providing a seamless user experience.

Connectivity options on the Nokia XR21 include extra-loud stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB-C port, NavIC support, 5G capability, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth 5.1 compatibility.
