WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging platform owned by Meta (formerly Facebook), has introduced a new screen-sharing feature for video calls in its Windows beta version. Sharing Your Screen During Video Calls

Users can choose to share either a specific window or their entire screen with all participants in the video call. Moreover, participants using mobile devices can also view the shared screen content. Currently, the screen-sharing feature is available to a limited number of beta testers who have installed the latest WhatsApp beta update for Windows through the Microsoft Store. According to WABetaInfo, some stable users are also getting this update. So if you are interested to install keep an eye on the Microsoft Store.

In addition to screen-sharing, WhatsApp has added other updates to its Windows beta version. A crop tool was recently integrated into the drawing editor within the app. This tool enables users to conveniently crop images directly within the WhatsApp interface, eliminating the need to use external editing tools.

Furthermore, WhatsApp is introducing a redesigned emoji keyboard to selected beta testers on the Android platform. The new keyboard provides an improved user experience with wider visibility. Users can access a broader view of emojis by scrolling the keyboard upwards. The redesigned emoji keyboard not only offers improved scrolling functionality but also includes redesigned tabs for accessing the GIF, sticker, and avatar sections. WhatsApp is also working on a new floating action button design and is introducing a high-quality photo-sharing option in its Android beta version.
