Samsung is preparing for the launch of its much-anticipated Galaxy M34 5G smartphone in India. The device was officially teased last month and is expected to hit the Indian markets in the upcoming weeks. Excitingly, the smartphone has recently been discovered on the FCC database, indicating that it will also make its way to the global market in the near future.

Based on information from the FCC certification, the Galaxy F34 5G has been assigned the model number SM-M346B/DS. The certification confirms that the device will feature 5G connectivity, as well as support for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac. Additionally, the certification reveals that the Galaxy M34 5G will come bundled with an EP-TA800 charger, indicating 25W fast charging support. Unfortunately, the certification does not reveal any further details about the device, so let’s take a look at what’s known so far.

Rumors are rife that the upcoming Galaxy M34 5G will be similar to the Galaxy A34 5G, but with a larger 6,000mAh battery. If this turns out to be true, then the M34 5G will be a major upgrade compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy M33 5G.

Moving to the rear camera setup, the device is anticipated to feature a 48MP primary camera sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP macro sensor. For capturing selfies, a 13MP front camera is likely to be available.

Under the hood, the Galaxy M34 5G is rumored to be powered by the Dimensity 7050 SoC. It is expected that the phone will be launched with configurations of up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. To ensure long-lasting usage, a substantial 6000mAh battery is anticipated, with support for 25W fast charging. The phone is also expected to come preloaded with the latest Android 13 update, featuring Samsung’s user-friendly One UI 5.1 interface.

Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy M34 will feature an improved display and processor. That being said, it remains to be seen if the device will launch under or over the ₹20,000 (~$244) mark.
