Samsung has officially announced its online gaming store. It is called the Game Portal. As the name suggests, it will be a one-stop place for all gaming-related products launched by Samsung. The South Korean brand known for smartphones, tablets, wearables, and home appliances also offers gaming monitors, SSDs, and more. Read on to know more about Game Portal below.
Samsung Game Portal online store announced
Game Portal is a dedicated online store from Samsung. It will cater to the needs of gamers by bringing all relevant devices in one place. The store will be accessible through Samsung’s official website in select markets. It is currently available in the US, UK, Germany, Italy, Brazil, France, and Spain. The online gaming store will also expand to over 30 countries later in the future.
There are dedicated sections for smartphones, gaming TVs, gaming monitors, gaming storage, and gaming headsets on the Samsung Game Portal. The brand is highlighting the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Neo QLED TV, Oddysey OLED G9 monitor, and the 990 PRO SSD.
The store also provides expert reviews, gaming tips and how-to’s, gaming news, and more. There will also be special offers, however, these will vary from region to region.
Commenting on the launch, Evelyn Kim, Executive Vice President, D2C Center at Samsung Electronics, said, “Gaming has become an important part of consumers’ lifestyle, not just entertainment, especially for Millennials and Gen Z. We will implement various initiatives to provide customers with a superior gaming experience, from purchase to use, by providing an environment that makes it enjoyable and easy to purchase gaming-related products.“
