The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series is set to make its global debut soon, with an expected unveiling at the upcoming Unpacked event in Seoul on July 26. The series will consist of two smartwatches: the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Ahead of their launch, both smartwatches have been spotted on various certification websites, including the FCC, GCF, and Safety Korea.

Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Model Numbers Surface

Adding to the excitement, the watches have now made an appearance on the Google Play Console listing. While the listing doesn’t provide much information about the upcoming smartwatches, it does reveal their respective model numbers. The 40mm variant of the Galaxy Watch 6 carries the model number SM-R930, while the 44mm variant is identified by the model number SM-R940. On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic comes in a 42mm variant with the model number SM-R950, and a 46mm variant with the model number SM-R960.

Previous leaks have already shed light on the battery specifications and official marketing images, offering insights into the design and battery capacity of both smartwatches. We have also previously shared the pricing details for the upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 lineup.

According to recent leaks, the upcoming smartwatches will feature slimmer bezels and larger screens compared to their predecessors. Powering these watches will be the Exynos W930 processor, built on a 5nm process, complemented by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. While the battery capacity is expected to be upgraded for the 40mm and 44mm variants of the Galaxy Watch 6, the Classic version will reportedly see a slight downgrade compared to last year’s model.
