Denza, a sub-brand of BYD and a prominent player in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, has recently announced its remarkable sales performance for the month of June. According to a report from IT Home on July 3, the company sold an impressive 11,058 units of its highly popular Denza D9 model, setting a new milestone in the market. With an average sales price surpassing RMB 420,000, Denza Motors has demonstrated its ability to capture consumer interest and loyalty.

The range of the D9 is 1040 kilometres on hybrid power

The Denza D9, launched in August of the previous year, has gained significant traction among car enthusiasts. Boasting a length, width, and height of 5250/1960/1920mm, and a wheelbase of 3110mm, this EV has successfully integrated the cutting-edge DM-i super hybrid technology. The vehicle’s exceptional performance delivers a comprehensive range of 1040km and an impressive pure electric range of up to 190km. Additionally, the EV-powered model, built on the e platform 3.0, achieves an impressive CLTC range of over 600km, strengthening Denza’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of electric mobility.

Furthermore, Denza Motors is poised to launch the highly anticipated Denza N7, a smart luxury hunting SUV. With dimensions of 4860/1935/1602mm and a wheelbase of 2940mm, this 5-seater medium-sized SUV combines the design elements of a safari, a coupe, and an SUV, drawing inspiration from the innovative INCEPTION concept car.

The Denza N7 will be available in two versions: a two-wheel drive and a four-wheel drive. The former is equipped with a powerful permanent magnet synchronous drive motor generating up to 230kW, while the latter boasts a front AC asynchronous/rear permanent magnet synchronous motor with a combined power output of 390kW. Both variants are outfitted with lithium-ion phosphate batteries, providing a capacity of 91.392kWh. Under CLTC working conditions, the N7 achieves an impressive pure electric cruising range of 702km for the two-wheel drive version and 630km for the four-wheel drive.

Denza Motors’ recent sales success, coupled with the upcoming launch of the Denza N7, solidifies its position as an industry leader in the Chinese electric vehicle market.
