Samsung is long overdue to launch a Fan Edition version of its flagship Galaxy S-series device. The South Korean brand had last launched the Galaxy S21 FE in 2021. Now, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S23 FE later this year. The device has already appeared in several leaks and rumors till now. It has started bagging various certifications including 3C and a battery certification from South Korea. The Galaxy S23 FE has now been spotted on Geekbench. 

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE listed on Geekbench

For those unaware, last week the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE appeared on Geekbench with the model number SM-S711B. Now, a new listing on the benchmarking platform with a different model number reveals new info. The new particular variant of the Galaxy S23 FE has the model number SM-S711U1 which potentially suggests at the US and global variants of the device. 

The listing reveals a motherboard codenamed taro and it comprises four cores clocked at 1.79GHz, three cores at 2.50GHz, and one core and 3GHz. It has an Adreno 730 GPU onboard. The chipset details correspond to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The new listing also mentions 8GB RAM onboard and Android 13 OS. In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core test results, the device scores 1,549 and 3,718 points respectively. 

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is expected to launch in a select few markets. We already know that the device with model number SM-S711B will be powered by Exynos 2200. It remains to be seen if Samsung will offer the S23 FE in two processor options or if they will differ based on region.
