After recently launching the Samsung M34 5G smartphone in India, the brand seems to be working on a new entry-level device called the Galaxy A05. As the name suggests, the smartphone will belong to the next generation of budget devices that are due to debut soon. The Galaxy A05 has been spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance website.

The Galaxy A05, identified by model number SM-A055F-DS, has received Wi-Fi Alliance certification. The certification confirms that the device will be named Galaxy A05 and will come equipped with Android 13 as its operating system. Additionally, it will support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands. No further information on the device is available as of yet, so let’s take a look at its predecessor to get an idea of what to expect.

The Samsung Galaxy A04 boasts a 6.5-inch display with an Infinity-V notch and HD+ resolution. On the front, there’s a 5-megapixel selfie camera, while the back houses a dual-camera system with a 50-megapixel primary camera (f/1.8 aperture) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, accompanied by an LED flash.

Under the hood, the device runs on Android 12 OS layered with One UI Core 4.1, powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor.
