Xiaomi will be launching the Redmi 12 smartphone on August 1 in India. The brand has already teased the three color options of the Redmi 12 coming to India which are Pastel Blue, Jade Black, and Moonstone Silver. The brand has now revealed that the smartphone will also be available to purchase on Flipkart.
The Redmi 12 will be available for purchase on Amazon, Xiaomi India website, and Flipkart. As per the Flipkart landing page, it will sport the largest display ever seen on a Redmi device, possibly the biggest among the numbered series. The Redmi 12 is a mid-range 4G smartphone that comes powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. As for the display, the device features a 6.79-inch IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution, a peak brightness of 550 nits, and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The device also has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the power button.
The global model of the device features 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It has a triple camera setup on the back, featuring a 50-megapixel main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, it offers an 8-megapixel front camera.
