Xiaomi is set to launch the Redmi 12 in the Indian market soon. But before its official announcement, the company released yet another teaser to showcase one of its upcoming color options.
Redmi 12 to launch in Pastel Blue with a Crystal Glass finish
The Chinese tech giant had previously announced that the device would be sold in a Jade Black color option. Apart from this, the device was also confirmed to arrive in a Moonstone Silver option as well. Now, the latest teaser from Xiaomi has revealed that a Pastel Blue color option for the Redmi 12 will also be available in India.
Furthermore, these three color options will also come with a Crystal Glass finish. This will add to their aesthetic and make them feel more premium despite the device being a budget grade handset. In India, the Redmi 12 will be unveiled on the 1st of August 2023. However, this model has already been released in Thailand. So while the Indian variant’s specs are still unclear, the global version of the same model offers us a glimpse at its hardware.
The global variant sports a tall 6.79-inch Full HD+ LCD panel that has a 90Hz refresh rate. The rear features a 50-megapixel triple camera setup, while the front houses an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. Under the hood, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 18W fast charging.
