Xiaomi’s Redmi 12 smartphone has obtained Bluetooth SIG certification, paving the way for its upcoming launch in India. The certification with Declaration ID D063911 confirms that the device supports Bluetooth version 5.3.
The Redmi 12 has already been announced in global markets like Thailand and Portugal is set to make its debut in India on August 1, 2023. Just recently, a Moonstone Silver color variant of the smartphone was unveiled ahead of its scheduled launch in India. Through a listing leak, it is also revealed that Redmi 12 will be available on Amazon India.
Redmi 12 specifications:
The Redmi 12 boasts a 6.79-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. It runs on a MediaTek Helio G88 12nm octa-core processor accompanied by an ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU.
The Redmi 12 offers two RAM variants: 4GB and 8GB, with internal storage options of 128GB and 256GB, expandable up to 1TB via microSD card. It operates on Android 13 with the MIUI 14 interface.
The smartphone features a 50MP primary rear camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera, along with an 8MP front camera for capturing selfies. Unlocking the device is secure with its side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and it also possesses an IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging, ensuring long-lasting usage. Additionally, the smartphone retains a 3.5mm audio jack for convenient headphone connectivity.
