Vivo recently introduced the Vivo V27 5G smartphone on its global website. The device comes powered with a Dimensity 6020 SoC, which is essentially a rebrand of Dimensity 700. The brand has now confirmed the India launch date of the Vivo V27.

Vivo is set to launch the Vivo Y27 in India on July 20, as mentioned in an Instagram story spotted by TheTechOutlook. The specific variant (4G or 5G) intended for the Indian market remains uncertain at this time. For now, let’s take a look at the specifications of the 5G variant.

Vivo Y27 5G specs

The Vivo Y27 5G boasts a 6.44-inch LCD display featuring a waterdrop notch, delivering an FHD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 600 nits. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button.

The Vivo Y27 5G houses a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor. It offers two RAM options: 4GB and 6GB, along with the added benefit of up to 6GB of virtual RAM. Both variants come with 128GB of onboard storage to store all your content. The smartphone draws power from a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 15W fast charging.

Regarding photography capabilities, the Vivo Y27 5G sports a dual rear camera setup, with a 50MP primary sensor complemented by a 2MP secondary bokeh lens. On the front, there’s an 8MP selfie snapper, ensuring quality selfies.

As for connectivity, the Vivo Y27 5G supports 5G, ensuring blazing-fast data speeds. It also includes a USB-C port, a 3.5mm jack, WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC. Lastly, the smartphone features Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 as its operating system.
