The Google Pixel 7 made its debut in October of 2022, and it’s anticipated that the release of the Google Pixel 8 will follow a similar timeline. With the launch approaching, numerous leaks about the device have surfaced online. Now, a new leak has emerged showcasing a teaser video of the smartphone that introduces an intriguing new feature.

In a recent tweet by EZ, a new feature called “Audio Magic Eraser” has been revealed. This feature will allow users to record videos and reduce unwanted background noise. It’s the first time a smartphone will have something like this.

How will it work?

According to the teaser, when the user records a video, it will show an option saying “Audio Magic Eraser.” After clicking the option, the tool will process the video using AI and reveal options like Noise, People, and Music. “People” and “Music” functions are still unknown, but the Noise option will come in handy to eliminate unwanted background noises. We expect the people and music function to work similarly, where you will likely be able to remove the voice of a particular person or music from the video.

In other leaks, the device is reported to come with two available storage options, 128GB and 256GB, and a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2992 x 1344. Under the hood, the device is speculated to run on Google’s self-developed Tensor G3 chip. Lastly, the phone is rumored to have a 50MP rear primary camera and a 64MP IMX787 ultra-wide-angle lens to enhance user experience. We are still waiting for an official announcement from Google about the launch of the device, but according to the previous launch, we can expect the device to launch near the end of October. More leaks are yet to come, so stay tuned.
