OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is scheduled to launch on August 16. Ace2Pro Android Upgrade

According to a recent Weibo post made by OnePlus, the brand has confirmed that the smartphone will be getting three major Android updates and four years of security patches. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be launching with Android 13 onboard, meaning that the device will continue to receive major Android updates until Android 16. Other than that, the post has also confirmed that the smartphone will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, an infrared blaster, and NFC support. Earlier, the brand also confirmed that the Ace 2 Pro will feature Wi-Fi 7 support. Here are some of the key specs of the Ace 2 Pro.

Earlier reports suggest that the device will come with a 5000mAh battery with 150W wired charging support and an appealing 6.74-inch 1.5k OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip with 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB of storage. Lastly, the device will come with the 50MP flagship Sony IMX890 sensor, previously used in smartphones like the OnePlus 11.
